This forum was founded by concerned Canadians on the ever escalating conflicts between the borders of Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. Our mission is to improve the prospect of sustainable and everlasting peace in South Asia. Today, South Asia has become a major battle ground and, with every passing moment, scope of this war is increasing and countless lives have already been lost.
In the last sixty years, India and Pakistan have fought several wars resulting in loss of innocent lives and the current war on terrorism has brought untold misery to the common man. History has shown that public opinion can change the tide of escalating war and pave the way for peace. Peace is the ultimate desire of South Asians living in the West or in their native countries, so that dignity of human life is preserved. The wave of terrorism can only be stopped by an all out effort to promote tolerance and educate the masses. Since both India and Pakistan are loaded with nuclear arsenals, attempts to muster public opinion against policies and actions that might trigger a nuclear disaster will be the ultimate desire of present mankind.
